Kathy started the company in 2020, but has worked in the Long Term Care sector for over 25 years in various positions. Honing her skills and passion for Behaviour Support, Kathy quickly saw the relationship between environment and the human experience and started Sensory-scapes with a directive to improve the environment within LTC. Kathy offers a regular workshop at George Brown College for the Therapeutic Recreation Program, has been a keynote speaker at multiple TRO events, has taught caregiver support workshops for the Waterloo Wellington Alzheimer’s Society, and loves to design sensory environments.

Tarquin is a graduate of the University of Waterloo Business program (Ba). Tarquin keeps schedules, deadlines, due dates and details. She manages software programs, social media and logistics. She also manages us… the creative team. If there is a knot, she can untangle it! If there is a problem, she can fix it.

Pam has two decades of experience in the print industry, specifically large print format graphics. Pam bridges the gap between design and production and is an essential element in proofing our designs. Pam makes certain murals are printed as intended and fit like a glove. Pam has a keen eye for detail and the patience of a saint.

Tammy brings a creative zest to our team. She loves to design and is not shy with her use of colour, texture, or pattern, often bringing them all together in bold, and combinations. When shopping for props or on a site visit she must touch everything (she is sensory) but no one is allowed to touch her plants.

Our passion is senior-care, our knowledge is dementia-care, and our expertise is transforming the everyday landscape of Long Term Care.

New to the Long Term Care industry Alli is a recent graduate who knows her stuff. She brings a fresh level of expertise in current graphic design trends and technology to Sensory-scape elevating our graphic production capabilities. She is quiet and knowledgeable with a fun sense of style and graphic interpretation.
